1. hrv. plemićka obitelj francuskog podrijetla; među najbogatijim posjednicima Banske Hrvatske; imanja u okolici Zagreba, varaždinskoj i križevačkoj biskupiji; u Hrvatskoj od poč. 18. st.; više pripadnika imalo važnu ulogu u političkom i kulturnom životu Hrvatske, protivnici mađarizacije i mađarskog jezika u hrv. školama, zalagali se za hrv. povijesno pravo i nacionalnu ideju
2. Otto (1810—1877), bliski suradnik bana Jelačića i član Banske vlade u Zagrebu
