francuski moderni skladatelj, akustičar i elektronski inženjer; 1948. sa svojom ekipom mladih skladatelja predstavio tzv. konkretnu glazbu, koja koristi elektronski preparirane i manipulirane zvukove iz svakodnevna života i prirode kao ravnopravni zvučni materijal tradicionalnim instrumentima (Simfonija za osamljena čovjeka, 1950)
