2. Roterdamski (lat. Erasmus Desiderius, pravo ime Geert Geerts) (1469—1536), nizozemski pisac latinskog izraza, zagovornik slobodarskih ideja i duhovne tolerancije, najistaknutiji autor razdoblja humanizma i navjestitelj prosvjetiteljstva; smatra se duhovnim začetnikom težnji prema europskoj integraciji; majstor latinskog stila, blistav polemičar i satiričar (Pohvala ludosti)
3. Erasmus hrv. dvomjesečni časopis za kulturu demokracije (1993—1998); u 27 brojeva okupio više od 200 suradnika, uglavnom intelektualaca liberalno-demokratske orijentacije
