SINTAGMA
common time (izg. kòmon time) glazb. naziv za 4/4 mjeru;
time charter (izg. tȃjmčārter) pom. trg. ugovor o najmu prijevoznog sredstva na određeno vrijeme (brod, avion i sl.);
time code (izg. time kȏud) film. TV opće prihvaćen naziv za suvremeni tehnički sustav koji omogućuje automatski sinkroni rad uređaja za snimanje slike i zvuka, kao i kodirano bilježenje podataka snimanja na pripadajuće vrpce;
time-keeper (izg. time kīper) 1. sport kontrolor vremenskog trajanja igre ili natjecanja 2. onaj koji kontrolira dolazak radnika na posao;
time-lag (izg. time lȅg) ekon. vremenski razmak između događaja i njegovih posljedica (kao jednokratnih događaja ili produženih procesa) za stanovite gospodarske pojave;
time-out (izg. time ȁut) 1. sport kratak prekid utakmice ili natjecanja koji se ne računa u vrijeme trajanja utakmice 2. razg. a. svaki predah; odmor [napravimo sada time-out] b. prekid u nekom događaju [mirovna konferencija je bila mali time-out u ratnom vrtlogu];
time-share (izg. time šȇr) 1. podjela vremena za korištenje nekog objekta u koji je zajednički uložen novac (apartmana u turističkim središtima i sl.) [time-share aranžman] 2. inform. podjela vremena za upotrebu kompjutera među korisnicima [time-share sistem]; time-sharing
