hrv. ekonomist i demograf; nakon višegodišnjih temeljitih istraživanja objavio knjige Gubici stanovništva Jugoslavije u drugom svjetskom ratu (1989) i Opsesije i megalomanije oko Jasenovca i Bleiburga (1992) u kojima je po prvi put bez političkih tendencija, strogim znanstvenim pristupom dao objektivne procjene o približnim demografskim i stvarnim ratnim žrtvama u Jugoslaviji i Hrvatskoj
